His name is Charles Patrick Barnhill and he goes by both names. My sweet Charles Patrick was born sleeping on January 27, 2011. He is my secret glimpse of Heaven. He visits me in dewdrops and talks to me in rays of sun. One day I will hold him again.
I have a daughter.
Her name is Charlie Rose. She was born on January 8, 2012. My rainbow baby. A rainbow always follows the storm. She carries his namesake because she was the beautiful thing that followed our storm. She is the most humble and inquisitive little infant I've ever met. She knows her brother. I know she does.
